One of our easier renovation projects was to upgrade our laundry, powder room, and mud room.
Project summary:
- Replace aging, scratched cheap linoleum with quality tiling
- Replace the laundry tub with a cabinet style tub and upgrade the plumbing fixtures
- Patch a hole behind the washing machine caused by a previous plumbing repair
- Change the powder room light fixture
- Painting
- Install new toilet roll holder to matched oiled bronze plumbing at sink (previously there was no holder, just an ugly free-standing holder!)
- Replace the ugly plastic registers with a steel floor register in satin nickel finish
- Keep the powder room sink, toilet, and mirror
- No change to the washer and dryer
